God gave us many spiritual gifts - wisdom, understanding, counsel, positive knowledge, fear of the Lord, faith, discernment, hospitality, etc... for in Christ, we lack nothing. "God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." - 1 Cor. 1:9

Thankfulness and gratitude show our maturity in our walk with the Lord. Being thankful should be regular and constant in our lives. We are told to be thankful. Accident or bad things happen so it can serve as a catalyst for us to change. So there's a reason for everything and we are thankful for everything.

Isaiah 53:3 says, "He was despised and rejected by mankind..." Because of my sins, he was wounded. I was healed by the punishment He suffered. Without Jesus, there will be no atonement for our sins. Our hope has been challenged in a lot of ways. What challenges your own hope? This is the reason why Jesus died so we can have hope. If you give up now, you'll forsake a better future for Jesus.
